I'll admit it, I originally bought this cleanser because I know Kate Middleton uses this line. BUT, after actually trying this cleanser myself I am HOOKED!
First of all, it smells divine, which is important. I've had cleansers and other skincare products that smell horrible and that made me not want to use them.
Second, this product actually does what it says: it cleanses your skin. You can feel your skin become clean and clear once you wash it off. Unlike harsh cleansers, though, your skin isn't dried out and squeaky. It is left moisturized and glowy.
Finally, Professional Cleansing (along with the other KH products I've been using) has really cleared up my skin and has brought the life back into it. It looks better than it has in years.
Once you learn how to use it, this is an amazing cleanser. The first time I squeezed it out of the tube I was a bit shocked that it looked like vaseline. What you do is emulsify it on your fingertips with a tiny bit of water and then massage it into your skin. Let it sit for a few seconds while you wet a washcloth with warm water and then wipe it off. My face feels so clean and not tight at all. It even gets of my majorly waterproof mascara without having to use makeup remover. I like that! The less pulling at my eye area the better. I have very sensitive skin and eyes and have to be very careful with what I use or I will get a very itchy rash or my eyes will burn and swell. None of that happens with the Karin Herzog line. It is pricey, but worth it.
I have complicated skin - over 30 and sensitive, but very oily and prone to breakouts. This cleanser has not only cleared up my skin, but it's made it brighter and younger looking. It will be hard to switch to another cleanser after this.
I like the cleansing cream, but would not say it did miracles. It smells great and the skin feels soft after the cleansing.
In my teenage years and 20's I had great skin. Then came 30 and I started getting terrible cystic acne and developed allergies to preservatives (anything releasing formaldehyde and quaternium 15). It sounds weird but most cosmetics regardless of how low-end/high-end/natural/etc have ingredients that release these preservatives i.e. diazolidinyl urea, dmdm hydantonin, disodium edta, etc. It took me about 2 years to figure that out. Its been a real challenge to get a retinol or any kind of effective product without those preservatives. I was reading a magazine and it mentioned Kate Middleon used this so being the skin care junkie I am I checked it out. I've been using for a little over a month in conjunction with the Vita-A-Kombi 2 and 3 and I love it. My skin is looking really great. The consistency of the cleanser is a little weird at first, it feels like your putting ointment on but it really does a good job cleaning skin.
You have never tried a cleanser like this one, this really worth the money. It was a little stiff at first but one you use it you will stick forever.
I love this product as it does not dry my skin at all and I feel like my skin is so much more dewy. I was skeptical about whether it would clean properly because of the texture, but once I got used to it I was hooked!
Gentle and suitable for the sensitive eye area.
Highly effective on waterproof makeup.
Leaves the skin feel soft and supple.
How to Use
Take a hazelnut size amount of cleanser and warm it between your fingertips. Combine with warm water and massage onto the dampened face and neck in circular motions for 10 to 15 seconds. Remove with warm water and cotton wool, until all traces of the cleanser have been removed. Use morning and evening.
